Our sawmill is running daily, sawing out lumber for sale to our customers. We have many species of lumber being sawn out, including oak, maple, pine, poplar and hemlock. Lumber sizes range from half inch thick boards to 1x dimensional lumber, 2x lumber and even live edge slabs.

Our lumber is generally of much higher quality than that of many big box stores because we are not mass processing truck loads of logs per hour. Our quality control is better and we hand select flawed boards to be removed from being sold.

Our lumber is cut slightly larger than that of the big box stores as well. This in part allows for shrinking while drying. And it also gives you some leeway when building your projects and planing your wood down at home. We can also saw lumber to your personal specifications. We have a growing inventory of live edge slabs for sale. Wood species include maple, pine, poplar, hemlock, cedar, and oak among others. Live Edge Slabs are generally sawn to 2 or 3 inches thick.

Our live edge slabs vary in size and shape from rounds to long boards up to 12 feet long. The width of our slabs also vary based on the original log width.

You will also find that our prices for live edge slabs are considerably lower than most others out there. The reason for this is that we prefer to sell them rather than hold on to them.

Country Wood Products wants every customer to be a return customer so we make sure you get what you pay for. Every face cord we sell is first stacked on a frame which measures one full face cord.

Then, just to be sure every customer is happy, we toss in a few more pieces of fire wood. Because fire wood is not perfectly shaped, there can be gaps in between pieces. So we toss on a few extra pieces.

Customer satisfaction is very important to us.

At Country Wood Products we will cut your firewood to your specifications. The standard length for firewood is 16 inches. This allows for three rows of firewood to a full cord. Most fire wood sellers cut only 16 in firewood.

If you need a special lenght or width for your fireplace, wood stove or outdoor boiler, please feel free to ask when placing an order. We would be happy to cut your firewood to fit your needs.

We can also split your firewood to larger or smaller sizes. Some fireplaces or old wood stoves have a very small burn chamber or opening. Average sized firewood cannot fit into these smaller stoves. Some larger wood stoves can handle very large logs. Larger logs burn longer in between fill ups. Let us know the dimensions of your wood stove opening and burn chamber when you place your order.

The Country Wood Products team also offers fallen tree clean up service. We can remove wind damaged trees and fallen trees from your yard or woods with no charge. We will cut up and remove the main trunk, logs and all branches up to 3 inches in diameter for free.

We can also haul away logs that another service has left behind. If you had a lot cleared out for new construction or some trees removed from your yard, we can clear out the logs that were left at no cost to you.

If you need a full clean up with the brush removed, there is a small fee per tree. Please contact us for a quote.

If you need some trees from your wooded lot or back yard removed, Country Wood Products is the team to call. We offer budget tree removal and thinning service.

Depending on the tree species, we may offer free tree removal service. We will fell a tree and take everything up to 3 inches in diameter for free. For a small fee we can clean up the brush as well.
