Here at Country Wood Products fire wood is selling out fast. We had a really cold spell come through and we sold out all the fire wood that we had on hand. We are now processing fire wood every day and taking orders for a week in advance.

 

We are buying dead oak logs and cutting down dead standing trees from the woods in order to fill orders faster. After cutting and splitting, our fire wood goes into a kiln to fully dry out so it is ready to heat your home when you get it.

 

Some of our customers are buying oak that is freshly cut and split but not yet dried at a discount. We are selling damp oak for $60 a face cord. This should be ready to burn by November if it is stacked off the ground on pallets in the sun and wind. Again, this is dead oak, not green logs.
